Accidents and illnesses happen every day. Some people need only a helping hand while others may suffer serious permanent injuries without help.
By mastering the combined course for Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (first aid) and Care for Children course skills you can render important care to those in need. There is no minimum or maximum age limit set on the course.
All courses are based on independent self study with course manual and DVD. The instructor provides practical hands-on training through skill development, scenario practice and assessment of skills.
The Emergency First Response course is based on the consensus view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the Care for Children course content is based on guidelines from the Paediatric Working Group of ILCOR.
All skills from the individual courses are taught including the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
